Mission

Founded in 1989, the UNH Foundation, Inc. is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing private support for the University of New Hampshire. Through the thoughtful generosity of alumni and friends, the University has enhanced learning opportunities for students, expanded its finest academic programs, provided new resources for research, and strengthened the University's service to the community, the region, and the world. Private support does make a difference. Endowment and similar funds under management have risen to $130.9 million. Combined with additional funds managed by the University System of New Hampshire, the total endowment and similar funds for the benefit of UNH is $243.4 million.
