How the Match UP Scholarship Program Works

The Match UP Scholarship Program allows you to name an endowed scholarship fund for $50,000. Each student receives $4,000 in scholarship support.

Here’s how the program works:

  • The first $12,000 gift needs to be made by June 30, 2012; $2,000 will be designated to current use for the first pay-out; the remaining $10,000 will get the scholarship endowment started. You have up to five additional years to complete the creation of the endowed fund at $50,000.
  •

  • Donors place one preference on their scholarship fund: either geographic specification, or by college.
  •

  • All scholarships will be need-based, which means that the UNH financial aid office awards the recipients.
