Planned Gifts

The UNH tradition of excellence has benefited from alumni and friends who have provided for the University in their estate plans. Whether you wish to memorialize a loved one, provide scholarship support for qualified students, or underwrite research, a bequest can achieve your goals and associate you with the University forever. Estate gifts to UNH may include a bequest of cash or gifts of real estate, personal property, or insurance. Life income plans such as a charitable gift annuity are also a popular option. Alumni and friends who make plans to support the University through wills, trusts, life income funds, real estate, retirement plans, and life insurance gifts are recognized with membership in the Heritage Society, named in honor of Benjamin Thompson, whose bequest established the University's beginning in Durham more than 100 years ago.
